ACCURACY
Laserkerf accuracy
Lasers add a tremendous visual aid to positioning the lumber
in alignment with the blade. Of course the big question is, how well does
the blade and the laser align with each other. The angle and horizontal
position of the Laserkerf can both be adjusted to bring the laser beam in
exact alignment with your saw blade. Most lasers mark only one side of the
blade and are not adjustable. Some lasers, that are adjustable, must be
aligned each time you switch sides of your blade. The Laserkerf, with its
blade matching width, requires no alignment during the cutting operation
to switch from cutting on one side of the blade to cutting on the other.
One blade mounted lasers instructions tells the owner to cut 50 pieces of
wood to become accurate with the cut verses the laser line.
